Good Hardware Quality / Barely Compatible / Bad Documentation

Overallthe Hardware seems to be of good quality and well made. For my project based on Up2Stream HD DAC the wiring supplied with the Boards are way too short and often not compatible. So I had to make almost every wiring myself. In addition the the documentation, especially the pin assignment and required connection to the „mainboard“ are not really explained. So if you deviate from the given path of Arylic for your DIY Project, you have to figure out yourself how to connect. I’m a nice guy, so I will share my wiring in the Arylic Forum. Good Luck for your Project!

Button board

It does what it says it does. But the arrangements of the buttons could be better. Volume up should be on the top. Volume down on the bottom. Next song and previous song should be right and left. Just like it is on the remote. Also mounting this is difficult because there is no CAD file about it.

Great addons; don't buy amps without buying expansions as well.

Wonderful way of expanding and customizing your amp setup. I won't order another amp without ordering expansions with it. I just wish they sold longer cables for them.

cannot get straight answers regarding installation

Boards I purchased (up2stream pro + DAC) seem very nice, seem very well-built. UNFORTUNATELY - 6-wire/7-pin cable supplied is too short to connect boards as I have installed, and the 7-wire/7-pin cable that IS long enough is polarized 180 deg out-of-phase with 6-wire cable, cannot be used. Bottom line? I would love to submit a review but as my intall exists, I am not even capable of switching it on. BTW - instructions are spotty and incomplete. What to do with wifi wire/tab off of up2stream Pro board? Where to mount sticky tab? How to properly route antenna wire? SIMPLE questions that seemingly cannot be answered by customer service, missing on instruction sheets. I would LOVE to revisit my review once my setup is operational, though I doubt that will ever happen based on the lack of help I have received from support

Hi Carl, thanks for your genuine feedback. The shorten cable is because the short +thicker cable will make sure to less the signal interference.

About the instructions, thanks for your valuable suggestion to let us know what we should improve. I will submit to our team and improve it. And we will keep following your case to try our best to solve your issue.

Great little Wifi & Bluetooth Audio interface

I've been around the block in term of affordable ways to connect my audio to my old style stereo, starting with the logitech squeezebox to the great little google chromecast audio puck to a now discontinued Nexum tunebox 2 (why not maintain software for such a well built piece of hardware?).
Anyway, if you're looking for an affordable connector that does wifi rather than just bluetooth, this little device fits the bill. It's fairly easy to connect with the app and works reliably as well. AND if you don't want the onboard DAC and its 2.5mm socket you can add an upgraded DAC. Mix and match to fit your needs and budget.
