WiFi Stability Troubleshooting Guide for Arylic Devices
Device Connected but Keeps Disconnecting or Not Showing in App
If your Arylic device has been successfully set up but experiences issues such as:
- Disconnecting from WiFi during use
- Not appearing in the app intermittently
- Unable to reconnect after initial setup
- LED shows connected, but the app cannot find the device
This guide will help you identify and resolve the most common causes.
1. Check WiFi Signal Stability
Even if setup succeeds, weak or unstable signals can cause disconnections.
- Place the device within 2–5 meters (6–16 ft) of your router
- Avoid obstacles such as walls, metal surfaces, or cabinets
- Avoid placing the device near interference sources (TVs, microwaves, etc.)
* If possible, test with the device placed next to the router to rule out signal issues.
2. Ensure Proper WiFi Band (2.4GHz Recommended)
Arylic devices perform best on 2.4GHz networks.
- If using dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz + 5GHz under same SSID), it may cause instability
- We recommend:
-
-
Separating SSIDs (e.g., Home_2.4G / Home_5G)
-
Or forcing connection to 2.4GHz during setup and use
-
3. Router Compatibility & Network Settings
Certain router configurations may block or interrupt communication.
Check the following settings:
- AP Isolation / Client Isolation → OFF
- Multicast → ENABLED
- IGMP Snooping → ENABLED (recommended)
- DHCP → ENABLED
If these are disabled or restricted, your phone may not detect the device even when it is connected.
4. Device Shows Connected (LED ON), But Not Found in App
If the device LED indicates it is connected to WiFi, but the app cannot find it:
Possible Cause: Network or Firewall Restrictions
Arylic devices rely on local network communication using specific ports.
Please ensure your router or phone firewall does not block the following ports:
- 1900 (UPnP / SSDP discovery)
- 2018 / 2345 / 7777 (device communication)
What to check:
- Disable router firewall restrictions temporarily
- Disable mobile security apps / firewall apps
- Avoid using guest networks (these often block device discovery)
5. Avoid Guest WiFi or Isolated Networks
Guest networks often block communication between devices.
- Ensure both your phone and Arylic device are on the main network
- Avoid networks that restrict device-to-device communication
6. Restart Network and Devices
A simple restart can resolve many instability issues:
- Restart your router
- Restart your Arylic device
- Restart your mobile phone
Then reopen the app and check again.
7. Reduce Network Congestion
Too many connected devices or heavy traffic can affect stability.
- Limit simultaneous streaming devices
- Avoid large downloads during playback
- Use a 5GHz network for other devices, keeping Arylic on 2.4GHz
8. Optional: Use Wired Connection for Maximum Stability
For the most stable experience:
- Connect your Arylic device via Ethernet cable
- This eliminates WiFi interference and ensures consistent performance
