How to use HDMI eARC/ARC with CEC Control?

This guide explains how to use HDMI ARC / eARC and CEC control on your Arylic device to output TV audio and control playback using your TV remote.

Before You Start

- Make sure your TV supports HDMI ARC or eARC.

- Use an HDMI cable connected to the TV port labeled ARC or eARC.

- Make sure your Arylic device supports HDMI ARC / eARC and is powered on.

- Enable CEC in your TV settings (CEC may have different brand names)

Connection Steps

1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC / eARC port on your TV.

2. Connect the other end to the HDMI ARC port on your Arylic device.

3. Turn on the TV and the Arylic device.

4. On your TV, set the audio output to HDMI ARC / eARC.

5. On the Arylic device, switch to TV input mode.

6. Open the ARC standby settings in GO CONTROL APP.
(usually actived at the first time)

Using CEC Control

1. Make sure CEC is enabled on both the TV and the Arylic device.

2. Use your TV remote to control volume on the Arylic device.

3. Power on or off the TV to automatically wake or put the Arylic device into standby (TV-dependent).

Notes

- eARC requires both the TV and Arylic device to support eARC.

- CEC behavior may vary by TV brand and model.

- Some TVs require a restart after enabling ARC or CEC settings.

Troubleshooting Tips

1. If there is no sound, double-check that the HDMI cable is connected to the ARC / eARC port on the TV.

2. Make sure the TV audio output is set to HDMI ARC / eARC, not TV speakers.

3. Make sure you set the TV audio output format to PCM.

4. Turn off and unplug both devices for 30 seconds, then power them on again.

5. Try a different HDMI cable if the connection is unstable.

6. If CEC does not work, disable and re-enable CEC in the TV settings.
