Boards themselves are great. Hooked up a couple cheapish in-ceiling speakers from amazon and they sound great.
Only suggestion would be to spend a bit more time on the 4 stream app. it works and is useable, but looking at the WiiM 4 Stream implementation, Arylic could step up a bit.
It just works.
Great little amplifier for DIY project
Up2Stream Amp - Multiroom Wireless Streaming Stereo Amplifier Board
I was able to plug this in with an existing plug I had, although I may get one that delivers higher W in the future and then switch it to mono and wire in my speaker.
It took all of ten minutes and music was playing.
Impressed with how easy it is to use.
The title says it all. This amp is as close to universal as you can get. Sounds good with a stable connection. If I were to find anything "wrong", I would like to see the LED and the IR sensor on the front edge, same side as the connectors, and the speaker connector on the 'back' edge. This might be the 4Stream app and not the amplifier, but sometimes there is a significant delay between a command from the app to the action being observed in the amp. Overall though, Arylic did a GREAT job with this one.
