How to Connect to Your SONOS Speaker?
This guide explains how Arylic devices work with SONOS speakers, and the available ways to connect them.
Understanding Arylic and SONOS Systems
1. Arylic and SONOS are two independent multi-room audio systems.
2. Both systems use their own apps, protocols, and device ecosystems.
3. Because of this, Arylic devices cannot be added directly to the SONOS app, and SONOS speakers cannot be added to the Arylic app.
Although the system logic is similar, the platforms do not integrate with each other.
Available Connection Methods
To play audio from an Arylic device to a SONOS speaker, you can use one of the following methods.
Option 1: Connect via Bluetooth
1. Make sure your SONOS speaker supports Bluetooth input (not all models do).
2. Set the SONOS speaker to Bluetooth mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth Transmitter mode on your Arylic device.
4. Pair the Arylic device with the SONOS speaker via Bluetooth.
Once connected, audio from the Arylic device will play through the SONOS speaker.
Option 2: Connect via Audio Cable
1. Check whether your SONOS speaker has any audio input.
2. Connect the audio output of the Arylic device to the audio input of the SONOS speaker using an audio cable.
3. Select the correct input source in the SONOS app.
This method provides a stable connection with minimal latency.
Method 3: Use AirPlay 2 for Multi-Room Playback
If your Arylic device supports AirPlay 2, this is the easiest way to sync with Sonos.
Steps:
-
Make sure your Arylic device and Sonos speakers are connected to the same WiFi network
-
Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPad
-
Tap the AirPlay icon
-
Select both:
-
Your Arylic device
-
Your Sonos speaker(s)
-
-
Start playing music
🎵 Music will play in sync across all selected devices.
Notes
1. Wi-Fi streaming between Arylic and SONOS is not supported.
2. Multi-room playback between Arylic and SONOS systems cannot be synchronized.
3. You can use AirPlay 2, or Google Cast to multiroom playback your SONOS and Arylic devices.
4. Bluetooth connections may introduce audio latency, depending on the device.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If Bluetooth pairing fails, confirm that your SONOS model supports Bluetooth audio input.
- Make sure the SONOS speaker is not already connected to another Bluetooth device.
- Try reducing the distance between the devices during pairing.
- For wired connections, confirm the correct input source is selected in the SONOS app.
