S10 WiFi Music Streamer

Unfortunately, after placing the order there was NO feedback, no possibility to track the order - UPS number leads nowhere! I made complain , still waiting for feedback.

It's a very usefull and smart DAC for streaming my prefered web radio or listen some tunes on my phones. I love it !

This is our 4th Arylic in the house. The other 3 are the older S10, which have are still doing well and I really enjoy, but the hifi in the living room was showing the weakness of the onboard DAC of the S10 ( though I find the DAC totally fine for the regular speakers on our other systems), so I wanted to try the S10+ for its digital out and bargain price.

I just finished setting up the S10+ with a Shiit DAC via the optical out, and it sounds great! I tested side by side with CD's vs streaming Spotify at max settings, and its tough to hear any real difference, which is a big jump from before (for the real hifi nuts: yes there is a difference, but streaming is very convenient, still sounds great and I have CDs for when I'm feeling fussy). The S10+ also upgrades to USBC, which makes it much more usable with modern computers and the addition of the basic control buttons on the top of the unit are handy because remotes are never where you left them...

Overall I think the S10+ is a solid evolution of the S10, and if I need more in future, this will be the model I'd get.

As a side note - all 4 Arylics at our place are connected via Wifi, and I found that connection stability, especially when grouped, was improved by giving them fixed IP's (reserved on the router and manually assigned on each unit via their web portals). This also helps them successfully self-reconnect every time the network is disrupted, or they temporarily lose power, which didn't always happen previously.
