Just setup my first DIY amp. Ready to buy more!! Very easy to setup and the sound is amazing.
After growing tired of fighting with respotify and other solutions, nice to have something that just works. One tiny gripe is that you have to resort to the low level protocol to turn off the power LED which is otherwise piercing. Wish it was available through the HTTP API.
How about a version with balanced inputs and outputs, including Subbass extra with same Dsp as stereo PLUS Delay for time/phase alignment
Works satisfactory.
B50 Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier With Audio Transmitter
I’ve spent a few days with the BP50, and it’s a solid little unit if you know what you’re getting. For under $100, it’s hard to complain. Sound-wise, it’s clean and neutral, though not audiophile-grade. Tons of inputs, decent DAC, and it didn’t flinch during daily use.
Among all the budget streamers I've used so far, LP10 is the easiest to set up and the most reliable. I've never experienced any pauses while playing due to a bad network. And its output sample rate is now more than 44.1kHz! It's nearly perfect for my Topping D50 III.
The setback is that my old favorite Arylic web interface is gone, and I mainly use only the optical out interface, so I cannot use any EQ feature.
I'm quite happy with these. I love how I can group zones easily and add and remove from the zone effortlessly. I also love how the music is synced up quite well between devices; enough so you can't tell if it's the distance of the speakers or the device if you do hear a very slight difference. I also have temporarily run one of these off a small USB charger with a single 2AHr 18650 cell and it will run about 4hrs, which is good. Also I have one connected to a bluetooth speaker which has it's own USB charger output, which doesn't work so well - the ground for the charger isn't isolated so it induces noise - that's an improvement I'd like to see them make: ensure the power input is fully isolated from the audio output to prevent noise. I also do wish the antenna wire had some sort of stiffener, something that allowed it to be shaped. As it is the antenna wire flops about and can't easily be kept up and out of the way. I'll 3dprint a box with an antenna support to fix this, but it is the one thing I don't like because without support the antenna is just drooping so that even in close proximity to the Wifi source it will occasionally loose audio for a second or two. Overall happy with the 4 of these and I've used them quite a bit!
I think the amp was simple enough to wire up. However, connecting it to WiFi and Bluetooth was more difficult. I could never get it to interface with my PC to adjust the sound settings. I ended up choosing another brand, and now I am out the cost of the Arylic.
don't trust these guys, they don't deliver what you pay for
LP10 doesn’t support 4Stream. It cannot read my FLAC files from my server! Worse, it doesn’t support Qobuz Connect! What where you thinking? What good is 24/192 support if I can’t play my own FLAC files or play Qobuz. Very unhappy about the LP10. I would prefer you update the S10+ to support 24/192 and you would have a winner. Right now, the LP10 sucks!
The Arylic LP10 does what it says. Finaly, we have multiroom Google Cast and Airplay 2 for a great price!
I especially like the web interface too. Why is that not mentioned on the website or in the manual? It’s an amazing thing. No App needed.
However, I do have a few gripes:
I would like to see password protection for the web interface. As well as an optional SSL-Encryption for the web interface. (Could be disabled by default to not scare unknowing Users with a Certificate-Error)
What I am really missing is the Option to disable Line-In. I don’t need it. I would like to disable it via the web interface, just like I can with USB and the other Services/Protocols.
For now, it’s a solid 4 Stars. If the mentioned issues get fixed, I would easily give it 5 Stars. If you can live with the aforementioned issues, it’s a clear recommendation.
I use it via ARC on my LG TV. It worked instantly but shut off when I switched to Prime on the TV. Weirdly I had to set the ARC to PCM manually while it worked on regular TV out of the box. So beware when you think its broken.
It turns itself on and off with the TV. The only issue is when you unplug the TV and BP50 at the same time and turn them back on ARC works again but you can't set the volume anymore. So beware when you used to turn of the power entirely.
The app is basic and takes some time to connect but for now it's ok for me. The sound from the cinch maybe a bit lacking but I use it for an old Speaker setup and therefor its sufficient. Haven't tried Bluetooth yet though.
For the price it's a good product.
The HDMI Arc connection doesn't work so if Arylic can't explain it tomorrow this unit is getting returned. It worked for one movie only after switching through all the inputs and playing with the Bluetooth and I still don't know what I did to make it work. Really was nice the one time it worked but this is beyond frustrating.
Setup instructions could be better and the 4stream app is lacking. When connecting bluetooth, the audio was really weak and muddy. I tried all sorts of different settings, but nothing worked. And then it did. I couldn’t figure out what I did to make it work. It got muddy again later and turning the unit off and then on again fixed it. Not an ideal solution.
I am really pressed with the quality and power of this product.
Together with a perfect app and we have a winner!
Coming from the big brands….
I bought an LP10 because it has both AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth. My wife is used to using Bluetooth and I wanted something familiar to her, she does not want anything complicated. We watched some tv on her laptop last night to discover somewhere between a quarter and a half second delay. Completely unusable. I have a cheap £25 Logitech Bluetooth reciever that behaves way better.
I found out from Chat GPT after the event that this is a known problem with Arylic, but there was no indication in Arylic’s advertising that it was unusable for video playback. If I can’t find a workaround, I’m going to have to send it back.
Better value than a wiim mini and includes a ethernet port, an OLED display, and supports airplay 2 instead of airplay 1. I cannot figure out how to google cast onto it or get it to populate in google home, but it works great with spotify connect and apple homekit.
This device has every connection that I need, the software part is a bit confusing and buggy(at least installed in my device) but reliable enough, some functions cannot be accessed via remote control thats why i remove one star, anyway it is a great product!
